Don Digirolamo

Don Digirolamo (born before 1978) is an American sound engineer .

Life

Digirolamo began his career in 1978 as a Dolby consultant, from 1982 he worked as a sound engineer. For his second film, Steven Spielberg's E.T. - The Extra-Terrestrial , he shared with Robert Knudson , Robert J. Glass and Gene S. Cantamessa at the Oscar ceremony in 1983 the Oscar in the category Best Sound . He was also nominated for the BAFTA Film Award in the Best Sound category. In 1988 (for Das Reich der Sonne ) and 1989 (for Wrong Game with Roger Rabbit ) he was nominated again for an Oscar, but could not win the award again. His other awards include a nomination for another BAFTA Film Award for Flashdance , as well as two Primetime Emmy nominations, of which he received the award in 1997 for the miniseries Titanic .
