After the death of his wife Beatrice, Byron Gruman travels through the USA. He takes a man with him in New Mexico who claims he is Elvis Presley and wants to return to Graceland .
Gruman wants to get rid of the wrong Elvis first. After an incident with a traffic cop , which Elvis appeased, Gruman finds his personality increasingly fascinating. In a casino, Gruman meets the impersonator of Marilyn Monroe Ashley.
Reviews
Mike DeWolfe wrote in the Apollo Movie Guide that it was amazing that Harvey Keitel wanted to participate as one of the best contemporary actors. He was just as misplaced as Jean-Claude Van Damme , who would impersonate Chris Farley . A Cadillac could drive through the holes in the plot .
