Donald Joseph Hying (born August 18, 1963 in West Allis , Wisconsin , USA ) is an American clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Madison .
Life
Donald Hying received on May 20 in 1989 by the Archbishop of Milwaukee, Rembert Weakland , OSB , the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On May 26, 2011 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . the titular bishop of Regiae and auxiliary bishop in Milwaukee . The Archbishop of Milwaukee, Jerome Listecki , donated him episcopal ordination on July 20 of that year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of New York , Timothy Dolan , and the auxiliary bishop emeritus of Milwaukee, Richard John Sklba .
On 24 November 2014 it appointed Pope Francis to the Bishop of Gary . The inauguration took place on January 6 of the following year.
On April 25, 2019, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Madison. The inauguration took place on June 25 of the same year.
