architecture

West tower

The nave is provided with a simple plaster that is painted in a light shade. On the north and south sides there are two parallel, high arched windows . The building can be entered through a beehive-shaped portal with a wooden, double-winged door, which was installed in the middle of the southern wall of the ship. A screen of the same size is arranged on the opposite side . The same applies to the eastern wall of the nave. Above the openings on the north and south sides, a wheel window is incorporated on both sides, axially symmetrical . These central axes are emphasized by risalits . Another beehive-shaped portal with a circular window is located in the west tower. The doors and windows are emphasized again by light colored bezels, while the contours of the nave and the church tower are structured by pilaster strips . The tower is designed with ox eyes , a surrounding cornice and a sound arcade above it with a church clock. Two 14th century bells hang behind the openings. The tower ends with a hipped roof as well as a sphere, weather vane and a gold star.

Furnishing

Inside there is a pulpit altar from the end of the 17th century. It is provided with a curly basket, the cheeks of which are decorated with cartilage . It was restored in 1930 and 1976. The prospectus of the organ also dates from the late 17th century, while from the organ in 1929 Alexander Schuke was built. Experts were able to date an offering box to the year 1686. The horseshoe gallery stands on Tuscan columns . They are coupled to the west , where they reach up to the flat ceiling and support the tower. There are a total of 27 death tablets on the walls . Additional features include a pewter baptismal bowl and a jug that can be dated to the 17th century. Two brass chandeliers with a round base and a bowl date from the 16th century. A chasuble showing two apostles was made in the second half of the 15th century.
