description

The rectangular hall church has a roof tower in the east. It was built in 1787 in place of an older previous church. The nave is covered with a slate , hipped gable roof . The roof tower initially grows square out of the gable roof. On top of it sits an eight-sided attachment that houses the belfry , in which a bronze church bell from 1932 and a cast steel bell from 1962 hang. A bulbous hood sits on it, which ends in a pointed helmet .

The church was restored in 1887 and 1999. This is what it says on the wall behind the pulpit altar, which is decorated in plait style and crowned with two mandatory panels . Two pictures from the 19th century hang to the right and left of the pulpit altar, they show Luther and Melanchthon . The interior of the nave has single-storey galleries and is covered with a simply painted flat ceiling. A picture of the twelve-year-old Jesus child was subsequently placed under the pulpit in the temple . The church once had a lot of jewelry. Today only a late Gothic Madonna and Child and a crucifix on a newer wooden cross are preserved from the old church furnishings . The organ with 6 registers , divided into 2 manuals and pedal, stands on the horseshoe-shaped gallery . It was built in 1884 by Hermann Kopp.
