Building description

View into the nave

The choir is straight and has not moved in. On the eastern wall there are two large panels , the rectangular shape of which is reinforced by white bezels , which are emphasized again at the height of the fighters and above in the middle.

The nave is comparatively simple. On the north side there are three, on the south side two high and rectangular windows with a central portal and a much smaller window above. Here, too, the boundaries were reinforced with light-colored bottles.

The west tower is square and takes up the full width of the nave. In the lower floor there is only a small, rectangular window on the west side. Above this is a circumferential cove at the height of the eaves of the ship. On the tower floor, the western side is also completely closed except for a small, circular opening. There is a small window on the north and south sides, and an arched sound arcade above it on all three sides . The curved tower hood ends with a tower ball and weather vane with the year 1766.

Furnishing

The pulpit altar dates from the time the church was built. It was made of wood; the white, curly pulpit is decorated with pillars and cheeks adorned with acanthus . Above it are a sound cover and a blown gable with a ray of sunshine.

The horseshoe gallery also dates from the construction period. The dark gallery is decorated with white cassettes. On the western gallery there is a Dinse organ from 1896. The structure has a flat wooden ceiling inside. Two bells from the late Middle Ages hang in the tower.

On the inside of the northern side of the nave is a verse from the Gospel according to Matthew : “Heaven and earth will pass away; but my words will not pass away ”( Mt 24:35  EU ). On the opposite page a verse from the letter of James is quoted: "Be doers of the word and not only hearers [whereby you deceive yourselves.]".
