building

The hall church was built from brick with three bays around 1400 . The base cornice is glazed . Beneath the cornice a perforated shape stone frieze . The pointed arch windows are two and three lanes with brick posts. The walls are designed as a three-quarter bar with a bevel , similar to the stepped walls of the portals on the north and south sides. The north portal is blocked.

In 1834 the west yoke, made of smoothly hewn field stones , and the brick roof tower were built. A northern sacristy was broken off. In the western yoke there are two-part windows with ox eyes in the apex. Brick pilasters flank the west portal. The roof tower is structured by pilasters. Ogival diaphragms with apex circle contain small sound openings and diaphragms arranged in pairs . The sides of the tower are crowned by flat triangular gables. The tower dome with lantern and pyramid is slated .

Furnishing

Two carved figures depicting Mary and John the Baptist are still preserved from the original furnishings from around 1400 . A body of the crucified was probably made at the end of the 15th century. The pulpit is dated to the 17th century. The altarpiece was made around 1700 . There are two paintings on it, probably from the year 1709. One shows the miracle of Pentecost between columns with painted marbling , the other in the base shows the Lord's Supper . The altar enclosure and patronage stalls date from the same time. The pastor's stalls were made in the 18th century. In the 19th century, the west gallery was built with openwork three-pass arcades .

The organ from the workshop of the Stralsund organ builder Friedrich Albert Mehmel was installed in 1865. It has a neo-Gothic prospectus with three leaves.

In the windows there are 19 cabinet panels from the 17th century with portraits, coats of arms and house brands.

The ringing consists of a steel bell cast around 1970 in a free-standing bell cage in the churchyard.
