The Doubrava River is a left-hand tributary of the Elbe in Eastern Bohemia .

location

The source of the Doubrava lie in the Žďár mountains of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands near Zdar nad Sazavou in the area of raised bog of Radostín . The river runs through a glacial valley and drains the mountainous region to the northwest towards the Elbe. It only passes a few places, like Ždírec nad Doubravou . Without any notable tributaries, it crosses the Havlíčkův Brod , Chrudim and Kuttenberg districts before flowing into the Elbe at Týnec nad Labem .
