The three- finger tip ( Ladin Col Alc , Italian Punta tre Dita , 2479  m slm ) is a summit in the Braies Dolomites . It is located in the Fanes-Sennes-Braies nature park, southeast of Plan de Corones . It is separated from the better known and somewhat higher Piz da Peres ( 2507  m ) to the west by the Dreifingerscharte. The three-finger tip shows its rugged and rugged side from the north, especially from the Olang Basin. On the south side of the mountain there are mainly moderately steep grass slopes. Usually the summit is climbed together with the Piz da Peres. To the southeast of the summit, less than a kilometer away, is the Hochalpsee ( 2252  m ).

Climbs

The shortest ascent corresponds to the ascent to Piz da Peres and leads from the Furkelsattel first in a south-easterly direction with an alternating slope through the forest. Later a path branches off in a southerly direction, which at last leads quite steeply through a Schuttkar to the Dreifingerscharte ( 2330  m ). From the Dreifingerscharte you can reach the summit of the Dreifingerspitze partly without a path, over moderately sloping grass slopes in a north-easterly direction. Approximately 2 hours should be estimated for this increase.

An alternative ascent leads from the Bad Bergfall Inn ( 1320  m ), a few kilometers south of Olang , over the Lapaduresjoch and the southeast ridge to the summit. This ascent in particular is also done as a ski tour in winter; another alternative is from St. Vigil through the Foschedura valley, south of the summit .
