Drieschnitz-Vorwerk ( Lower Sorbian Drěžniski Forwark ) is a part of the municipality of Drieschnitz-Kahsel , a district of the municipality of Neuhausen / Spree in the Spree-Neisse district in Brandenburg . 46 people live in the village on 13 farms.

Drieschnitz-Vorwerk is located in Niederlausitz . Surrounding villages are Komptendorf in the north, Gablenz and Trebendorf in the village meadow land in the northeast, Mattendorf (also to Wiesengrund) to the east, to Spremberg belonging districts Hornow Barbican in the southeast, Hornow in the south, Kahsel the west and Drieschnitz in the northwest.

Drieschnitz-Vorwerk is connected to the district road 7112, which runs just under two kilometers north of the town, via a local road.

Administrative affiliation

Drieschnitz-Vorwerk has always been part of the Drieschnitz district. Together with this, the place came to the Kingdom of Prussia as a result of the Congress of Vienna . From January 1, 1974, the Vorwerk was part of the Drieschnitz-Kahsel municipality that was created after the merger of Drieschnitz and Kahsel . After the reunification , Drieschnitz-Vorwerk was in the Neuhausen / Spree district from July 16, 1992 and was assigned to the new Spree-Neisse district on December 6, 1993 after the district reform in Brandenburg . On September 19, 2004, Drieschnitz-Kahsel was incorporated with the municipality of Drieschnitz-Vorwerk to Neuhausen / Spree .
