The drum public național M2 is a trunk road in the Republic of Moldova . The road connects the capital Chișinău with the Moldovan-Ukrainian border in the north-northwest and continues on the Ukrainian side towards Vinnytsia .

The road leading from the link with the Drum public naţional M14 north of the Moldovan capital Chisinau four lanes expanded first in a northwesterly direction to Orhei and on two-lane parallel to the river Raut after near Floreşti located Ghindeşti . It bypasses Soroca and soon after it reaches the river Dniester (Nistru), which forms the border with Ukraine and over which a ferry runs. On the Ukrainian side, it continues north from the R08 road .
The length of the road is around 155 kilometers.
