Due contro tutti is a western comedy from an Italian-Spanish co-production that has not been performed in German-speaking countries. The film, shot in 1962, is attributed to Alberto De Martino in its Italian version and to Antonio Momplet in the Spanish version .

action

Brothers Bull and Jonathan Bullivan escape a lynch mob they've got hold of for card fraud. After a long journey they arrive in Golden City, where a group of bandits under the leadership of the outwardly respectable (he is the mayor) Fats Missouri is up to mischief. Together with Black Boy and the local saloon owner, he knows how to harass the good citizens so that many of them sell their land, house and property to his middlemen for a ridiculous price. The Bullivans also get to know the sisters Suzanne and Clementine, who - love goes through the stomach - serve them delicious fried chickens. These have been fed a special energy supplement that was developed by the Hahnenkamp organizer. Bull and Jonathan are now practically invulnerable and their strength can hardly be stopped. After they have cleaned up everything in town, they leave the place with the sisters.

criticism

The Segnalazioni Cinematografiche found the satire to be unsuccessful, “despite a few good moments overall weak and too predictable.” The presentation was “just as modest as the style of the film”.

Remarks

The Spanish title of the work is El sheriff terrible . Ruggero Maccari , José Mallorquí , Giulio Scarnicci , Ettore Scola and Renzo Tarabusi are named as script workers .
