Dwayne Anderson (born June 22, 1986 in Silver Spring , Maryland ) is an American basketball player . After studying in his home country, Anderson turned pro in Europe in 2009. Most recently, he played for the s.Oliver Baskets from Würzburg in the 2012/13 season . Since July 2013 he has been an assistant coach for the basketball team at Pennsylvania State University .

Career

During his studies at Villanova University, Dwayne Anderson started his career with the university team Wildcats in NCAA Division I. In 2009, the BG Göttingen was his first professional station, with which he won the European club competition EuroChallenge in 2010. After the change of coach John Patrick , Anderson also left the club and in 2011 moved to the Italian second division promoted Morpho Baskets Piacenza, where he played with Clint-Cotis Harrison , who was also formerly active in the German BBL . For the 2012/13 season he will switch back to Beko BBL to last year's playoff semi-finalist s.Oliver Baskets Würzburg, where he will join five old teammates with John Little , Jason Boone , Christopher McNaughton , Ben Jacobson , and assistant coach Michael Meeks his time at the BG Göttingen.

After the 2012/13 season he worked as an assistant coach for the basketball team at Pennsylvania State University .
