E. Lynn Harris

E. Lynn Harris (born June 20, 1955 in Flint , Michigan , † July 23, 2009 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American author .

Life

Harris was born in Michigan in 1955 to an African-American family and grew up in Little Rock , Arkansas . After finishing school, Harris studied at the University of Arkansas and after completing his studies worked as a computer specialist for the company IBM . In addition to his work, he began to write several books as an author since the mid-1990s, including the subject of homosexuality . Harris was openly gay in California. Harris died of a heart attack in 2009 .
