The 2018/19 season of the Erste Bank Young Stars League (EBYSL for short) was the seventh edition of the highest junior league in Austrian ice hockey, which also - as the junior league of the supranational Erste Bank ice hockey league - includes teams from Austria, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and Hungary. The season started on September 1st. The final was a new edition of the previous season, again AV19 Fehérvár and HD Jesenice faced each other. For the Slovenians it is the third participation in the finals in a row. Since no Austrian club made it into the EBYSL final, the Austrian champions were played in a best-of-three series between the VSV and the Vienna Capitals.

Participating teams

The league comprised a total of 15 teams. HK Slavija Ljubljana and Vasas Budapest no longer took part in the league . The game association Debrecen Miskolce Select was dissolved, instead the Debreceni HK participated alone. The KMH Budapest cooperated with the DVTK Miskolc under the name Hokiklub Budapest DVTK Select .
