Eagles is the 1972 debut album by the US country rock band Eagles . The album was a huge success for the very young band, reaching number 22 on the charts and earning platinum status.

In the published 2003 list of the 500 best albums of all time of Rolling Stone was Eagles selected at No. 374 because it "puts new emphasis on the LA country rock set".

Peaceful Easy Feeling , Witchy Woman and Take it Easy were released as singles, reaching number 22, 9 and 12. The latter single is on the list of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll and one of the most famous hits of the Tape.
