Ebendorf is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Mistelbach and a former municipality.
Ebendorf was founded before 1100 by the Herren von der Traisen. The name Hertwig von Ebendorf first appeared in a document in the Klosterneuburg Code of Traditions around 1140 . After their extinction, part of the village came to the sovereign, the other to the Mistelbach branch based in Mistelbach . After the Mistelbachers died out in 1371, Ebendorf fell to the Trauttmansdorffs , who in 1383 sold the place to Johann I, Herr zu Nikolsburg and Feldsberg .
