Eckhard Most (* 1943 ) is a German medic.

Life

Eckhard Most studied 1964-1969 medicine and in 1971 with a thesis on the effect of beta-receptor blockers alprenolol , practolol and MF 611a to the eosinophilic leukocytes in flowing blood at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster for Dr. med. PhD. He was licensed as a specialist in internal medicine . In 1978 he received the Venia Legendi for internal medicine and cardiology at the University of Münster. In 1981 he was appointed adjunct professor at the University of Münster.

From 1987 until his retirement in 2008 he was chief physician at the St. Vincenz Hospital Paderborn and head of the Medical Clinic II (cardiology), which he was responsible for developing.

Most was for many years chairman of the steering committee of the Academy for Medical Training of the Medical Association Westphalia-Lippe and the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians Westphalia-Lippe and is their honorary chairman .
