Economic Science Association

The Economic Science Association (ESA) is an association of economists founded in 1986 in Tucson , Arizona , whose focus is on experimental economic research . The association, which has been operating internationally since 1997, has published the specialist journal Experimental Economics , which has been published by Springer Science + Business Media since 1998 , as well as the Journal of the Economics Science Association, and holds regular conferences in North America and Europe .

In addition to economists, the spectrum of members also includes related areas, such as political scientists , psychologists and business economists .

Well-known members include Nobel Prize winners Elinor Ostrom , Al Roth and Vernon L. Smith .
