Edelhof is a village and a cadastral municipality of the municipality of Haag in the district of Amstetten in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 86 building areas on a total of 47,896 m² and 132 gardens on a total of 367,282 m², in 1989/1990 there were 82 building areas. By the turn of the year 1999/2000 the number of building areas rose to 194 and in 2009/2010 there were 216 buildings on 387 building areas.

Agriculture

Edelhof is predominantly agricultural. 490 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 58 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 507 hectares and 61 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 483 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 71 hectares. Edelhof's average soil climate number is 42.5 (as of 2010).
