Edelstetten is a district of the market Neuburg an der Kammel in the Swabian district of Günzburg in Bavaria .
location
The parish village is two and a half kilometers east of Neuburg. The Haselbach , a tributary of the Kammel , flows through the town.
history
The place was first mentioned in a document in the first half of the 12th century.
The former municipality of Edelstetten with its districts Marbach and Oberhagenried was dissolved in 1978 as part of the municipal reform. Oberhagenried came to the neighboring municipality of Münsterhausen , Edelstetten and Marbach were incorporated into Neuburg.

The state road in 2023 of Long Haslach to Thannhausen through the town. Local roads lead to Neuburg and Attenhausen .
Attractions
The castle from the 18th century, the parish church of St. John the Baptist and St. John the Evangelist (built around 1709) and the St. Michael Chapel, whose masonry probably dates from the 12th century, are worth seeing .
