Edin Hodžić (born February 4, 1986 in Sjenica ) is a Serbian biathlete and cross-country skier .

Edin Hodžić starts for SK Jelenak and is coached by Tihomir Milosavljević. The student made his debut in Obertilliach in 2002 in the Junior European Cup. In the only race at the Junior European Championships in 2003 in Forni Avoltri , he did not finish. In the same place he took part in the Junior Summer Biathlon World Championships in the summer and achieved results in the 30s. At the 2004 Junior World Championships in Haute-Maurienne , Hodžić's best result was a 69th place in the individual. In 2007 he again took part in a Junior World Championship in Martell and achieved a 67th place in the sprint as the best result.

At the end of the 2005/06 season Hodžić made his debut in Martell in a biathlon European Cup race in the men's area. In Langdorf he took part in the 2006 European Biathlon Championships , but finished neither the individual nor the sprint. Even a year later he did not finish in the Bansko singles . It was different in 2008 in Nové Město na Moravě , when Hodžić was 70th in the sprint and 74th in the individual. Without having been used in World Cup races until then , the Serb was used in three races at the 2009 Biathlon World Championships in Pyeongchang . In the individual he came in 116th, in the sprint on 104th place. With Damir Rastić , Milanko Petrović and Nikola Jeremić he reached 26th place in the relay race. At the start of the 2010/11 season , Hodžić achieved his best World Cup result to date and at the same time his first double-digit result in Östersund as 95th of an individual.

In addition to biathlon, Hodžić also does cross-country skiing. Since 2003 he has been taking part in national and international competitions again and again. At first he mainly competed in FIS races , later in the Balkan Cup and often achieved single-digit results. Participation in the Winter Universiades 2005 and 2007 did not produce any noteworthy results. At the national championships in 2008 in Kruševo , he won bronze in the 5-kilometer race, and was sixth in the 10-kilometer race.
