Edmundo Luís Kunz
Edmundo Luís Kunz (born March 11, 1919 in Venâncio Aires , Rio Grande do Sul , Brazil ; † September 12, 1988 ) was auxiliary bishop in Porto Alegre .
Life
Edmundo Luís Kunz received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Porto Alegre on November 30, 1944 .
On August 1, 1955, Pope Pius XII appointed him . the titular bishop of Ptolemais in Phenicia and auxiliary bishop in Porto Alegre. The Archbishop of Porto Alegre, Alfredo Vicente Scherer , donated him episcopal ordination on October 30 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Passo Fundo , João Cláudio Colling , and the Bishop of Uruguaiana , Luiz Felipe de Nadal .
Edmundo Luís Kunz attended the second, third and fourth sessions of the Second Vatican Council .
