Edo Heinrich von Thünen (born June 16, 1808 in Friedland (Mecklenburg) , † August 17, 1873 in Tellow ) was a German manor owner in Mecklenburg . He sat in the Reichstag (North German Confederation) .

Life

As the son of Johann Heinrich von Thünen , v. Thünen held the Gymnasium zu Friedland (Mecklenburg) until 1827 . Prepared for over three years by his father, he studied camera science from 1830 to 1834 at the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Berlin , the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg and the Universität Rostock . In 1833 he became a member of the Mecklenburg State Corps Vandalia Rostock . From 1834 to 1851 he was an auditor and domain official at the offices of Dargun , Stavenhagen and Lübz .

At the time of the revolution in Mecklenburg (1848) he was a member of the Mecklenburg parliamentary assembly (from Mecklenburg-Schwerin and Mecklenburg-Strelitz ). She sent him to the Erfurt Union Parliament in 1850 . In 1851 he retired to his father's Tellow estate .

From February 1867 until the Reichstag election in 1871 he was a member of the Reichstag of the North German Confederation and the Customs Parliament for the constituency of Mecklenburg-Schwerin 2 ( Kammergüter ) and the National Liberal Party . He died at the age of 65.
