Map Eheke in Namibia

Eheke is a settlement in the constituency of Ondangwa-Land in the Oshana region in northern Namibia . The settlement has about 1115 inhabitants on an area of ​​1702.3898 hectares . Eheke is 15 kilometers southwest of the city of Ondangwa .

The place is named after a waterhole that was created here in 1927 for livestock farming . Not far from the water point, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Namibia (ELCIN) built a church under a tree in 1954 . Eheke has had the status of a settlement since 2003 .
