The Honor Park (Ukrainian парк Слави ; Russian парк славы ) is the central and the cityscape formative Park of the city Zhovti Vody in the Ukrainian Dnipropetrovsk Oblast .

First and foremost is the “Palace of Culture” (or “Center of Popular Culture and Leisure” as it is also called today), which was put into operation on the eve of the 40th anniversary of the October Revolution , November 6, 1957 Building for cultural events with, among other things, a 720-seat concert hall and the city's registry office . The designer of the building, originally called the “Palace of Culture Lenin”, is the Russian architect Oleksij Mykolaiowytsch Aleksandrov. Given its uniqueness, the “palace” was added to the list of architectural monuments of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast in 1985 . Also known is the 11.5 meter high " equestrian statue of the heroes of the war of liberation of the Ukrainian people 1648–1654", which depicts the three Cossacks Bohdan Khmelnyzkyj , Ivan Bohun and Maksym Krywonis , who led the Khmelnitsky uprising against the aristocratic republic of Poland-Lithuania. whose first battle took place at Schowti Vody .

To commemorate the fallen soldiers of the Great Patriotic War, there is a memorial and the " Eternal Flame " in the park, as well as a memorial to the memory of the Holodomor , a famine in 1932 and 1933, a memorial to commemorate the people killed the Chernobyl nuclear disaster and the Lenin Monument, inaugurated in 1967 in honor of the founder of the Soviet Union, Vladimir Ilyich Lenin . As a result of the change of government after the turmoil of the Euromaidan, the Lenin monument was removed from its base with a crane on February 26, 2014 and moved to the city's historical museum.
