Ehrlersheim is a Franconian settlement that belongs to Weilersbach .
geography
The on the eastern edge of the Erlanger Albvorlandes preferred settlement is one of five officially designated community parts of the Upper Franconian municipality Weilersbach. It is located about one kilometer northwest of the center of Unterweilersbach , in which the municipal administration of Weilersbach has its seat, at an altitude of 343 m above sea level. NHN .
history
Ehrlersheim did not emerge until the first half of the 20th century. In 1936 it was named in the field name collection of the municipality of Oberweilersbach as a new settlement "Erlesheim" in the field area "Erlesanger" (plan numbers 597-600). In 1950, the settlement known as "Ehrlersheim" had grown to 29 residential buildings and had thus reached the size of a village with 223 inhabitants. With the municipal reform in Bavaria in the 1970s, Ehrlersheim became part of the municipality of Weilersbach on July 1, 1970 together with the entire municipality of Oberweilersbach, which was formed by the merger of the municipalities of Obererweilersbach, Reifenberg and Unterweilersbach. In 1970 Ehrlersheim had 255 inhabitants.

The district road FO 11 , coming from the neighboring village of Mittlerweilersbach to the south-east, crosses the village and continues to Saviors . The settlement is not served by public transport , the next stop of the VGN bus line 222 is in Oberweilersbach and is a little less than a kilometer away. The closest train station to the Wiesent Valley Railway is in Kirchehrenbach .
