Unterweilersbach is a Franconian parish village that belongs to Weilersbach .

geography

The parish village located on the eastern edge of the Erlanger Alb foreland is one of five officially named parts of the municipality of Weilersbach in Upper Franconia . It is located about three kilometers east-northeast of Forchheim at an altitude of 306  m above sea level. NHN .

history

In the Middle Ages there was an aristocratic seat in Unterweilersbach, which had already been lost when the place was first mentioned in 1360. Until the beginning of the 19th century, Unterweilersbach was under the sovereignty of the Bamberg Monastery .
