Eitzen is a small town in Houston County in southeast Minnesota , one of the northern states of the United States .

Eitzen is centrally located in southern Houston County, just 500 m north of the state of Iowa . In the east, the border of the county and that of the state of Minnesota is formed by the Mississippi , about 20 km away .

The closest villages to Eitzen are New Albin (10 miles) to the east just before the Mississippi , which is already in Iowa, and the northwestern town of Spring Grove (18 km via back roads, 15 miles via State 76 and State 44 ) and in the north the village of Caledonia (16 km), which can be reached directly via State 76 , which runs through Eitzen . is.
