Location of Eitzenberg in Bavaria

Eitzenberg (also outdated Eizenberg ) is a district of the Upper Bavarian municipality of Iffeldorf in the Weilheim-Schongau district . The wasteland is about 3.5 kilometers east-northeast of the Iffeldorfer town center.

The Eitzenberger Weiher are north of Eitzenberg .

history

The first mention Eitzenberg as "Yzenberch" in Urbar the Lords of Seefeld - Peißenberg from 1300 to 1320th

In Eitzenberg there had been a 18 yard, which was subject to interest in the Wessobrunn monastery and which is reported in the Höhenkirchener Salbuch , since at least the early 16th century . Probably in 1674 Eitzenberg was electoral fief , d. H. the farm was given to the farmer as a family property. In 1975 agriculture was given up.
