The most inconspicuous Wu-Tang member speaks very little in and with the public, and little else is known about him. He likes to stay in the background and let the others in the spotlight. Masta Killa in particular is interested in bringing the old style back to the Wu-Tang fans: "I'm bringing back that original Wu-tang sound. I'm bringing the family and fans back together like how everyone remembers… the whole Wu -tang movement. I know what they've been waiting for all these years and they won't be disappointed. " Above all, he doesn't want to disappoint the people who once made him and the clan famous.

On June 1, 2004, he released his first debut album as a solo artist. No Said Date appeared on Nature Sound. The entire album was produced exclusively by the Wu-Tang environment ( RZA , Allah Mathematics and True Master ). In addition, the entire Wu-Tang Clan is represented on the album. There are features from RZA, GZA , Method Man , Ghostface , Inspectah Deck , U-God , Ol 'Dirty Bastard and Raekwon .

In 2006 he released his 2nd solo album called Made in Brooklyn . As on his first album, there are features of the members of the clan, among others MF Doom , PF Cuttin, Bronze Nazareth and Pete Rock appear as producers . Masta Killa said in an interview about the album: Its basically the same formula as No Said Date, but with more of a Brooklyn swagger .
