Elivélton played for various top clubs in Brazil as well as a season at Nagoya Grampus in Japan . He was a member of the team of Cruzeiro , the 1997 the World Cup final against Borussia Dortmund lost. Elivélton had already won this title in 1992 with São Paulo FC .
