The Elkhorn Grove Township is one of twelve townships in Carroll County in the northwest of the US -amerikanischen state of Illinois .

The Elkhorn Grove Township is located in northwest Illinois about 20 km north of the Rock River . The Mississippi , which forms the border with Iowa , is around 40 km to the west. The Wisconsin border is 70 km north.

The Elkhorn Grove Township is located in the extreme southeast of Carroll County and borders within it to the west to the Wysox Township and to the north to the Rock Creek-Lima Township . The Elkhorn Grove Township borders the Ogle to the east and Whiteside County to the south .
