Emil Noll (born November 21, 1978 in Kinshasa , Democratic Republic of the Congo ) is a German football player who also has Congolese citizenship .

Career

The son of a Congolese mother and a German father moved his family from the Congo to Neu-Ulm when he was five years old. In his youth and in the first few years in senior football, he played in clubs in the area around Neu-Ulm.

In 2002 he moved to a higher league for the first time to regional league club VfR Aalen , where the tall defender was able to establish himself immediately. After another two years, the second division Alemannia Aachen signed him for three years. There, too, he quickly played his way into the team after his position became vacant after a short-term player change. He reached the second round of the UEFA Cup with the club, for which they had qualified by reaching the cup final last year. In the 2005/06 season, Noll helped as a regular on the left side of the four-man defensive chain to secure the promotion of Alemannia to the Bundesliga .

After he was only used sporadically in the first half of the season, he moved to the second division TuS Koblenz during the winter break of the 2006/07 season , which he left again after the end of the season. For the 2007/08 season Noll went to the second division club SC Paderborn . But after this was relegated to the 3rd division, he signed a contract with FSV Frankfurt for the following season 2008/09 , in which he came to 30 games in the 2nd division. During the summer break of 2009 he moved to the Liechtenstein soccer club FC Vaduz . There Noll won the Liechtenstein Cup in the final against USV Eschen-Mauren .

In the summer break of 2010, Noll moved to the Polish first division club Arka Gdynia . After he was relegated with the team from the Ekstraklasa , his contract was terminated. In August he signed a contract with Pogoń Stettin from the second division . In the summer of 2012 he rose to the Ekstraklasa with the club.

His contract, which expired in summer 2013, was not renewed and Noll went to FC 08 Homburg in the German regional league . He was adopted at the end of the 2015/16 season.
