Emma Nordin (born March 22, 1991 in Örnsköldsvik ) is a Swedish ice hockey player who has been playing for Luleå HF in the highest Swedish women's division, the Svenska damhockeyligan (SDHL), since 2015 .

Career

Emma Nordin started her career in the youth division of MODO Hockey in her hometown Örnsköldsvik . From 2003 she played for MODO's women's team in what was then Division 1, initially as a defender. At the end of the 2005/06 season she was Swedish runner- up with MODO . In 2012, she won the Swedish championship with MODO, before moving from defense to the position of center forward in 2013.

Before the 2015/16 season, she moved to Luleå HF , with whom she won the club's first championship title in 2016.

International

For the Swedish national teams , she completed 15 games in the U18 selection. She took 4th place with the U18 team at the 2008 Junior World Championships , and 3rd place the following year , thus winning the bronze medal. At the same time, she was nominated for the first time for the senior national team and took 5th place at the 2008 World Cup , and 4th place next year as well as at the 2010 Winter Olympics .

Further participation in world championships followed in 2011 , 2015 and 2017 . At the 2014 Winter Olympics , she again reached fourth place with the Swedish women.
