Employee of the Month is a 2006 American comedy film directed by Greg Coolidge .

action

The employees of the department store Super Club compete for the award Employee of the Month ( Employee of the Month ). The picture of the winner should hang on a wall in the building.

Vince Downey, who has won several awards, and Zack Bradley, who is popular among colleagues, are competing for the title. The new employee, Amy, only meets with the bearers of the title. Downey and Bradley court their favor.

After a few days of competition, Bradley and Downey get the same number of points. A competition should show which of the two cashiers works faster and decide on the award of the title. Bradley meets with Amy and reveals that he is aiming for the title because of her. He learns that Amy did not appreciate her last boyfriend, who bore such a title.

Bradley wants to quit his job. He thanks Amy for making him a better person. However, his grandmother persuades him to take up the challenge. Downey wins the competition, but it turns out that he cheated on the checkout by smuggling goods behind his back, thereby gaining an advantage. Downey is released, Bradley receives the title and is kissed by Amy.

Reviews

Ruthe Stein wrote in the San Francisco Chronicle on October 6, 2006 that the film would never be film of the month , but there are worse films. She criticized Jessica Simpson's presence and asked if anyone over the age of six might find the story funny.
