Anthony B. Richmond

Anthony B. Richmond (born July 7, 1942 in London , England ) is a British cameraman .

Live and act

Richmond began his career in the film business as a clapper loader and runner . In this function he worked on the literary film adaptation of Doctor Zhivago in 1965 . In 1968 he worked for the first time as an independent cameraman on a feature film production. To this day, cinema productions from a wide variety of genres in which he participated have mainly followed.

In 1985, Richmond appeared for the first and only time as a director. He directed the film drama Déjà Vu , the main role was taken by his then wife Jaclyn Smith .

For his camera work on the film When the Gondolas Bear Mourning , Richmond won the British Film Awards in 1974.
