Encino is a district of Los Angeles in the US state of California . It is located in the north of the city of Los Angeles in the central part of the southern San Fernando Valley .

Encino is bordered to the west by Tarzana , to the north by the Sepulveda Basin , to the east by Sherman Oaks and to the south by Brentwood .
