Endstation Mord (original title Le amiche del cuore ) is an Italian film by Michele Placido from 1992. In the film, based on a script by Angelo Pasquini , Michele Placido and Roberto Nobile , Asia Argento and Michele Placido played the leading roles.

The three teenage friends Simona, Morena and Claudia live in the suburbs of Rome. The three girls have different goals. While Claudia wants to become an actress, Morena is training to be a nurse and takes care of her sick mother. Fifteen-year-old Simona seems to lead a normal life and has lived with her father since she separated from her mother. However, as the film progresses, it becomes clear that she is a victim of incest. It seems impossible to her to leave her father until she accepts a job and falls in love with a colleague. This seems like a way out until her jealous father finds out about it.

Endstation Mord celebrated its premiere on May 14, 1992 in Italy. In Germany the film was first shown on July 20, 1995 for premiere .

Reviews

Clarke Fountain says the film clearly shows the price that a 15-year-old girl who is abused by her father has to pay. He also does without uncomfortably explicit scenes. The lexicon of international film saw a “sensitive drama about a taboo subject”, which becomes haunting through its “foundation in social reality” and the performance of the “young leading actresses”.
