Enn Sellik

Enn Sellik (born December 10, 1954 in Iisaku ) is a former Estonian long-distance runner who started for the Soviet Union .

Over 5000 m he won silver at the European Athletics Junior Championships in 1973 in Duisburg and came second at the European Athletics Cup in 1975 in Nice.

In 1976 he was sixth at the World Cross Country Championships in Chepstow and eleventh over 5000 m at the Olympic Games in Montreal .

In 1977 he was tenth at the Cross Country World Championships in Düsseldorf and won bronze with the Soviet team. Over 5000 m he was second again at the European Cup in Helsinki and won the Universiade .

The following year he was ninth at the 1978 World Cross Country Championship in Glasgow. At the European Athletics Championships in Prague, he was eighth over 5000 m and 10,000 m .

At the Cross Country World Championships in Limerick in 1979 , he came in 38th and again won bronze with the Soviet team.

In 1980 he finished 33rd at the Cross Country World Championships in Paris . At the Olympic Games in Moscow he was eighth over 10,000 m and was eliminated over 5000 m in the run.

At the World Cross Country Championship in Rome in 1982 , he won his third bronze medal in the team ranking with a 45th place.

In 1975 and 1976 he was the Soviet champion over 10,000 m .
