Enrico Barth (born October 6, 1969 ) is a former German soccer player. Most of his career he was active for FC Erzgebirge Aue and its predecessors as well as for SV Waldhof Mannheim .

Career

In his youth he played for the BSG Wismut Aue and after his youth he ran for the second team of Wismut Aue. In the 1989/90 season he took part with this team in the FDGB Cup and they met Dynamo Dresden in the first round . In the 0: 6 defeat against the team from the GDR Oberliga, he was used over the entire season.

In the 1989/90 season he made his debut in the GDR league for the club from Aue, which now competes under the name FC Wismut Aue . He was used by coach Jürgen Escher in the 0-1 defeat against 1. FC Magdeburg on April 7, 1990 over the entire season. At the end of the season he rose together with the team as the penultimate from the GDR league.

After relegation he stayed with Wismut Aue and entered the GDR league in the 1990/91 season . At the end of the season she finished second in Season B due to the worse goal difference behind FSV Zwickau and therefore had to compete in the Oberliga Nordost in the following season .

For the 1993/94 season he moved from the Erzgebirge to SV Waldhof Mannheim and made his debut on July 27, 1993 in the 2nd Bundesliga against Fortuna Cologne . He was used by coach Jürgen Sundermann in the 1-1 draw over the entire season. The 1996/97 season he finished with the Mannheimers on 15th place in the table, which meant the Astieg.

After relegation, he returned to the Ore Mountains for the 1997/98 season and joined FC Erzgebirge Aue . In order to let his career coast to a halt, he moved to the neighboring town of Au for one season in 2002 for FC 1910 Lößnitz .
