Enver Gjokaj (born February 12, 1980 in Orange County , California ) is an American actor , his best-known role was the character Victor in the Joss Whedon series Dollhouse .

Life

Gjokaj's father is Albanian and his mother is from the United States. Gjokaj has an identical twin brother named Demir who appears alongside him in a dream sequence in the second season of Dollhouse .

Enver Gjokaj attended UC Berkeley and did his bachelor's degree there in 2002 . He then went to the Tisch School of the Arts in New York, graduating in 2005 with a Master of Fine Arts in acting. Gjokaj played opposite roles in smaller films made for television roles in several well-known television series such as Law & Order - Criminal Intent and The Unit - A matter of honor before in some major films like The Express , Eagle Eye - except control and Taking Chance was seen .

In 2008 Gjokaj moved from New York to Los Angeles . In 2009 he was known as "Doll" Victor in the Joss Whedon series Dollhouse . This was followed, in addition to a role in the film Stone (2010), mainly guest appearances in series such as Lie to Me or Community . In 2012, Gjokaj was seen in a supporting role as a police officer in the Whedon-directed blockbuster The Avengers and in an episode of the Hawaii Five-0 series.
