Undercovers is an American action agent television series produced by Bad Robot Productions , Bonanza Productions, and Warner Bros. Television . The idea for the series came from JJ Abrams and Josh Reims . You were the executive producers of the pilot episode . Bryan Burk , with whom Abrams worked on a number of occasions, also participated. The series first aired on September 22, 2010 on NBC . Undercovers is JJ Abrams' second agent series after Alias - The Agent .

Five years after leaving the CIA to open a restaurant, Steven and Samantha Bloom have returned to the job and are employed by Carlton Shawn. You take on missions that the regular CIA cannot master. They make a pact never to talk about their past. The Blooms surprisingly learn new things about each other with each mission. They are joined by Leo Nash, a top agent and former friend of Samantha's, and Bill Hoyt, a stupid computer expert who also worships Steven. Lizzy is Samantha's sister; she is a dry alcoholic and keeps the gastronomy going. She doesn't know about Samantha's and Steve's life as an agent.

JJ Abrams directed the pilot episode . The series was described as "modern tough but warm " . Andrew Kramer worked with JJ Abrams and came up with the series title. On May 3, NBC ordered Undercovers as a series.
On November 4, 2010, NBC discontinued undercovers .

In the United States, the first and only season was broadcast on NBC from September 22 to December 29, 2010 . However, only the first eleven episodes were shown. The remaining two episodes were only aired in Australia in January 2012.
Germany
The RTL Group has secured the broadcasting rights and broadcast the series on the digital special-interest channel RTL Nitro from March 28, 2014 to April 18, 2014.
