Erdinç Yavuz (born October 4, 1978 in Kayseri ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

society

Yavuz began club football in the youth of Kayseri Erciyesspor and received a professional contract with the then third division team in 1997. In his first season he established himself as a regular player and completed 25 league games. In the next season he moved to the second division Hatayspor and made the leap into the starting eleven here as well. After one season he returned to Erciyesspor and played the following two years for this club. In the 2000/01 season he managed with this club through the championship of the TFF 3rd Lig promotion to the TFF 2nd Lig . In the following one, however, they missed relegation and played third class again. In the summer of 2001, Yavuz then moved to the other second division club in the city of Kayseri , to Kayserispor .

In the summer of 2002 he moved to the traditional Turkish club Trabzonspor and played the following six seasons for this club. Only the second half of the 2006/07 season he spent as a loan player at Sakaryaspor . He finished the 2002/03 and 2003/04 seasons with Trabzonspor as Turkish Cup winner and ended the 2003/04 season as runner-up in the Süper Lig . The 2004/05 season he reached the runner-up again with his club.

In 2008 he left Trabzonspor and moved to the second division Kayseri Erciyesspor. After a year he was hired by Diyarbakırspor . In the summer of 2010 he went to the Turkish first division club Konyaspor . After the relegation failed here, they played the next season in the TFF 1st Lig . Despite a modest squad, they made it into the play-off phase of the 1st Lig and were eliminated in the semi-finals.

In the summer of 2014 he moved to the second division Elazığspor and left it after half a season.

National team

Yavuz played four times for the second selection of the Turkish national team . In addition, he was nominated once in the squad of the first selection in 2006, but was on the bench in this encounter.
