Eric Beauchemin (born January 14, 1991 ) is an American snowboarder . He starts in the freestyle disciplines.

Career

Beauchemin has been participating in the Ticket to Ride World Snowboard Tour competitions since 2008 . He achieved his first podium finish in February 2008 with third place in slopestyle at the Chevrolet Revolution Tour. At the national championships in 2009 he was third in slopestyle. He drove his first FIS World Cup race in Denver in January 2011 , which he finished in 21st place in the Big Air competition. In the 2011/12 season he was second in slopestyle at the US Revolution Tour in Copper Mountain and first in Big Air at Gloryfy Bastards 2012 in Gerlos . At the Snowboard World Championships in Oslo in 2012 he reached fourth place in slopestyle. In November 2012 he won slopestyle at the O'Neill Pleasure Jam in Schladming . At the US Championships in 2013, he took second place in slopestyle. In March 2014 he was third in slopestyle at the Pamporovo Freestyle Open in Pamporovo and at the IS Open in Iso-Syöte and second at the Poney Session in St Lary . At the beginning of the 2014/15 season he won in slopestyle at the O'Neill Pleasure Jam in Schladming. This was followed by a second place in slopestyle at the RedBull Nanshan Open in Beijing . In February 2015 he won in slopestyle at the US Snowboarding Grand Prix in Mammoth . In the same month he took third place in the Big Air competition in Stoneham in the FIS World Cup and third place in the US Snowboarding Grand Prix and FIS World Cup races in Mammoth in Slopestyle, his first World Cup podiums. In March 2016, he finished second in slopestyle at the Burton US Open in Vail . At the 2016 Snowboard World Championships in Yabuli , he came 15th in Big Air and fourth in Slopestyle. In the 2016/17 season he came in 12th place in Slopestyle at the Winter X Games 2017 in Aspen and 13th place in Big Air at the X Games Norway 2017 in Hafjell . In February 2017 he was at the Banana Open in Jilin third in slopestyle.
