Eric Anthony Page (born September 23, 1991 in Toledo , Ohio ) is a retired American American football and Canadian football player. He played in the position of wide receiver and return specialist with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the National Football League (NFL).

Career

Page played from 2009 to 2011 at the University of Toledo College Football for the Toledo Rockets in the Mid-American Conference (MAC). He was named All-MAC in all three seasons. In 2010 he was named MAC Specialist of the Year and, in the position of kick returner, was named Consesus All American . In 2011 he became only the third player in the history of the FBS to be elected to three positions in the First-team All-Conference (WR, KR, PR) and was also a finalist for the Paul Hornung Award as the most versatile player of the FBS. Overall, Page had 306 captured passes for 3,446 yards in his college career. In 2018 Page was inducted into the UT Varsity “T” Hall of Fame , the hall of fame of the Toledo Rockets . An anniversary team was elected in 2017 for the 100th anniversary of the Rockets. Page landed in eleventh place.

After Page was not selected in the 2012 NFL Draft , the Denver Broncos signed him . He was released in July 2012 after tearing a cruciate ligament. On April 12, 2013, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed him . On the third day of the 2013 season , he caught his first passes in the NFL. He was released on August 24, 2014. On October 8, 2014, the Buccaneers signed up for their practice squad , but released him on October 27, 2014. On February 13, 2015, the Edmonton Eskimos signed him from the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was released on June 14, 2015.
