During the playoffs of the 2005/06 season he strengthened the EHC Biel in the NLB . After the end of the season in Switzerland Perrin signed again with the Tampa Bay Lightning and scored on November 2, 2006 his first goal in the National Hockey League in a game against the Philadelphia Flyers .
From July 1, 2007 Perrin was under contract with the Atlanta Thrashers and completed 159 NHL games for the Thrashers before he was committed in September 2009 by HK Awangard Omsk from the Continental Hockey League . In October 2010 he moved to JYP Jyväskylä in the SM-liiga.
