Act

Since working at the Pathological-Anatomical Institute, he has been particularly concerned with the problem of the early stages of malignant tumors. His scientific findings led to a reduction in operative radicalism in early stages of cervical cancer through conization , which he enforced against the initial resistance of his teacher Ernst Navratil. A further field of activity from 1979 was the expansion of surgical procedures for the treatment of advanced cervical cancer, as well as the scientific investigation of the question of the spread of ovarian cancer and its surgical treatment.
