Erich Heyduck

Erich Heyduck (born March 21, 1952 in Vienna ) is an Austrian set designer , lighting designer, documentary filmmaker and cameraman .

Life

Erich Heyduck worked as an outfitter, lighting designer, technical director at the Salzburg State Theater under the direction of Federik Mirdita and at the Salzburg Festival , as well as technical director at the Mannheim National Theater. At the Staatsschauspiel Dresden and Staatstheater Potsdam he was director of technology and equipment. He also tried his hand at the Stadttheater Klagenfurt under the management of Dietmar Pflegerl as technical director. He also had a teaching position for lighting technology at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz . Heyduck was responsible for the technical project management and lighting design at the expo Hannover 2000 for the Monaco pavilion, the lighting design for "Cube Essen" and the lighting installation for Artcube Berlin. He also worked for the butcher shop and artemedia , which created a virtual model for the Bernsteinzimmer in cooperation with Gazprom and Ruhrgas on behalf of Vladimir Putin and Gerhard Schröder in Essen.

Erich Heyduck works freelance mainly in projects in the independent theater scene in Vienna and in the Weinviertel, where he was responsible for the lighting design at Coloman's process - music theater for mixed choir by Herbert Lauermann (first performance in 2004 at the Weinviertel Festival in Stockerau, artistic director Dietmar Jäger ) . In January 2007 he presented the “Zeitlinien” project as Visualist of the Month in the Museumsquartier of the City of Vienna . From time to time his work can be seen temporarily in the theater on Jaffa Beach .
