Erika Streithorst

Erika Streithorst (born April 23, 1908 ; † June 30, 1960 in Berlin ) was a German actress , dialogue writer and dialogue director in film dubbing .

Life

Erika Steinhorst began her film career in 1934 in the first film adaptation of the novel Die Feuerzangenbowle by Heinrich Spoerl with the title So ein Flegel . Among others, Heinz Rühmann , Ellen Frank and Inge Conradi played under the direction of Robert A. Stemmle . As a result, she worked in various film productions until 1950 . Among them were capers by and with Gustaf Gründgens and Marianne Hoppe , Fita Benkhoff and Volker von Collande as well as 1939 uprising in Damascus by Gustav Ucicky with Brigitte Horney , Hans Nielsen and Joachim Gottschalk and in 1950 hunted by the devil by Viktor Tourjansky with Hans Albers , Willy Birgel , Maria Holst and Lil Dagover .

After the end of the Second World War , she increasingly turned to dubbing work for the Eagle-Lion-Film in Hamburg and the Berliner Synchron and until 1960 wrote numerous dialogue books on the dubbing of popular feature films of the time. Examples of these are Roman Holiday , Sabrina , war and peace , and Witness for the Prosecution to call. Occasionally she was also active as a voice actress and dialogue director.

Erika Streithorst committed in 1960 in the western part of Berlin suicide .
